Edmonton Oilers star Ryan Nugent-Hopkins will take part in the Canadian junior hockey team?s selection camp.
Nugent-Hopkins? agent, Rick Valette, and the Oilers made the announcement on Twitter Saturday that the 19-year-old centre would attend the camp in Calgary on Monday.
?It?s a good chance to play for my country,? said Nugent-Hopkins through the Oilers? Twitter account. ?It?s going to be awesome to have that opportunity. We want to come back with the gold.?

He left the Barons for Edmonton to have his left shoulder examined earlier this week.
?I had a really good week of strength and conditioning my shoulder,? said Nugent-Hopkins.
The Burnaby, B.C., native had four goals and two assists in six games for Canada at 2012 IIHF World Hockey Championship.
Thirty-seven players were invited to selection camp Dec. 10-15 ahead of the championship that opens Dec. 26 in Ufa, Russia.
